We tested the CS caster several years ago, and were surprised to see they were still using the same one, due to it's breakage problems. The whole box was marked made in China, which is why they can under cut our price.
This is the casters from a set I took in trade from a CS customer who's 4300 lbs. Pontiac had bent two of his casters. The problem with this caster design is the hex at the base of the stud does not let the bearing ring contact the bottom of the skate, so all the side stress bends the stem. Their high starting forces only made it worse.
The Tireskate Caster is on the right. Our caster looks similar, but notice the absence of the hex.The bearing ring clamps tight to the bottom of the car skate plate so it doesn't bend as theirs has here.
